
My Yoga Journey
I still remember my very first yoga class back in 2016—a university sports session in Budapest. Once a week, I showed up, moved through the poses, and enjoyed it, but I didn’t really think much about it. Then, as life got busier, I stopped again, practiced here and there, but never consistently.
Fast forward a few years to my master’s in Maastricht. I picked up yoga again through university sports, and this time, something clicked. I found myself looking forward to the classes, feeling lighter and more at home in my body. Then came COVID, and suddenly, my mat became my little escape. Practicing at home wasn’t always consistent, but it was different—I started to feel yoga on a deeper level. It was no longer just movement, it became a way to ground and check-in with myself.

Somewhere along the way, the idea of doing a teacher training started to take shape. Not because I planned to teach, but because I wanted to understand yoga beyond the physical practice. And if I was going to do it, I knew I wanted to go to the roots—to India, the birthplace of yoga.

A few years later, I finally took the leap. I quit my job, booked a flight, and traveled to Rishikesh and spent a month living in an ashram fully immersed in the lifestyle of a yogi.The training was intense—physically, mentally, and emotionally—but also one of the most transformative experiences of my life. For the first time, I truly understood that yoga is so much more than just the poses. It is a way of being, a philosophy, a science of balance—between sun and moon energy, body and mind, movement and stillness, self and the divine.

After absorbing this ancient wisdom, I knew I couldn’t just keep it to myself. Even though I had never been certain about becoming a teacher, after the training, I fell in love with the practice even more. ​Teaching felt like a natural next step, and I wanted to share this knowledge, to create spaces for others to experience the depth of yoga for themselves.

TODAY
I feel deeply grateful to lead classes where people can tune into their bodies, quiet their minds, and explore their inner world. Yoga is not just what happens on the mat—it’s how we move through life, how we breathe through challenges, and how we find connection in moments of stillness.
